Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: September 2026 Applies to Khan IT clients

At Khan IT, we work on SEO, web development, content, and other digital projects that require planning, specialist time, research, and ongoing work. Because our services involve work performed specifically for each client, all payments made to Khan IT are non-refundable.

1. No Refund Policy

Khan IT does not offer refunds for payments made for our services.

Once a payment has been received, it is considered non-refundable, including payments made for:

  • SEO services
  • SEO audits
  • SEO consulting
  • Content writing
  • Link building
  • Web development
  • Website design
  • Technical SEO
  • Local SEO
  • E-commerce SEO
  • International SEO
  • AI SEO or GEO services
  • Other agreed digital services

This applies because our services may involve dedicated staff time, research, planning, analysis, content production, development, technical work, and other resources allocated specifically to a client's project.

2. Can a Client Cancel a Project?

Yes.

A client may request cancellation of an ongoing project by contacting Khan IT in writing.

However, requesting cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund.

If Khan IT agrees to the cancellation, the cancellation will be handled according to the specific cancellation terms agreed between Khan IT and the client for that project.

3. What Happens When a Cancellation Is Accepted?

When Khan IT accepts a cancellation request, we will determine the applicable project terms based on the client's agreement.

Depending on the project, those terms may address:

  • Work already completed
  • Work currently in progress
  • Outstanding payments
  • Unused project time
  • Pending deliverables
  • Access to completed work
  • Third-party costs
  • Final reporting
  • Project handover

Acceptance of a cancellation does not mean that previous payments become refundable.

The client remains responsible for obligations that apply under the agreed project cancellation clause.

4. Project-Specific Cancellation Terms

Some Khan IT projects may have specific cancellation terms included in the proposal, contract, statement of work, or other written agreement.

If a project contains a specific cancellation clause, that clause will govern the cancellation process for that project once Khan IT accepts the cancellation.

For this reason, clients should review their individual project agreement before requesting cancellation.

If there is no specific cancellation clause in the applicable agreement, Khan IT will determine the cancellation process based on the circumstances and the terms agreed with the client.

5. Work Completed Before Cancellation

Cancellation does not reverse work that Khan IT has already performed.

Depending on the service, completed work may include:

  • SEO research
  • Keyword research
  • Technical audits
  • SEO strategy
  • Content writing
  • Website development
  • Website design
  • Technical implementation
  • Link building
  • Reporting
  • Consultation
  • Other project-specific work

Any obligations relating to completed or partially completed work will follow the applicable project agreement.

6. Third-Party Costs

Some projects may involve costs paid to or incurred through third-party services, platforms, tools, domains, hosting providers, software providers, or other external parties.

These costs may not be refundable to Khan IT.

Where applicable, the client remains responsible for third-party costs that the client has authorised or that have already been incurred on behalf of the project.

7. Cancellation Does Not Guarantee Immediate Termination

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically terminate a project.

The project remains active until Khan IT confirms that the cancellation has been accepted and provides any applicable final instructions.

Clients should continue to follow the agreed project terms until the cancellation becomes effective.

8. How to Request Cancellation

To request cancellation of a Khan IT project, contact us in writing.

Cancellation Request

Email: [email protected]

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Company name
  • Project or service name
  • Cancellation request
  • Any relevant project reference

Khan IT will review the request and respond with the applicable cancellation process.

9. What If a Client Stops Responding?

A client becoming unresponsive does not automatically cancel a project or create a refund entitlement.

If we cannot proceed because required information, access, approval, or communication is unavailable, Khan IT may pause the project or take other action according to the applicable project agreement.

Any payments already made remain subject to this No Refund Policy and the applicable project terms.

10. Service Performance and Refunds

SEO and digital marketing results can depend on factors outside Khan IT's direct control.

Search engine algorithms, competitors, website changes, market conditions, client decisions, and other factors can affect campaign performance.

Therefore, dissatisfaction with rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, or other performance metrics does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Khan IT's published case studies show results from specific campaigns and should not be interpreted as guarantees of identical results for another client.

You can review our documented work on the Case Studies page.

11. Disputes About Payments or Cancellation

If you have a concern about a payment, cancellation, deliverable, or project obligation, please contact Khan IT first.

We will review the matter against the applicable project agreement and attempt to resolve the issue professionally.

A cancellation request and a dispute about a project are separate matters. Cancellation does not automatically change payment obligations.

12. Changes to This Policy

Khan IT may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy when our services, business practices, or contractual procedures change.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Any project already governed by a separate written agreement will remain subject to the terms agreed for that project, unless both parties agree otherwise.

13. Contact Khan IT
